How to upgrade to the Enterprise tier

Please contact us, and describe your requirements in terms of:

  • number of buckets
  • bandwidth speed
  • number of keys
  • payment method (credit card / eft)
  • support requirements

Why does the payment frequency show 'Monthly' when I am on the Free tier?

New orders are created monthly while any bucket exists, which is why the Order Tab displays the Payment Frequency as  “monthly”. We pass a credit on your account during every monthly invoice run for the first 25GB of Storage used.

- If your account is linked to the Free Tier, this essentially cancels out the Invoice, resulting in a No-Cost-To-You service.

-If your account is linked to the Paid Tier, you will still receive the credit for the first 25GB of Storage space used, only paying for the difference and other billable costs.

How to change your credit card details

  • Login with your registered email address and password > Select the Hamburger Icon > Billing page
  • Select the Payment Details Tab
  • Under the 'Credit Card' section, toggle the button to the left, to open up a new card form.
You cannot edit existing information. Add new information to replace existing information.

  • Complete the fields on the form carefully with the correct card information, then select Update.
Our payment gateway will process a validation check to your card provider to ensure that the details are valid and correct. This may incur a charge of R1.00 to your card

Why am I limited to five buckets on the Paid tier

If you are already on the Paid tier and have supplied us with your credit card details, you do qualify for an unlimited number of buckets. We have limited the number available via the website for safety reasons.

Please Contact Us from your registered email address, requesting access to more buckets.

Key tag name, and naming conventions

Since the Key Tag Name is intended to remind you who / which system is using it, and for what purpose, it will be useful to make it as meaningful as possible. There are some naming convention rules to keep in mind, though;

  1. The Key Tag Name may not be blank
  2. It may NOT contain spaces as the first or last characters
  3. Special Characters are not allowed
  4. The Key Tag Name must be a single word - i.e KeyTwo, DataBase, UserAdmin etc.

Where can I get copies of my Statement?

  • Log in with your registered email address and password

  • Open the Billing page, and select the Accounts tab.

  • You will notice the statement at the bottom of the page.

Get a Statement:

  • Select the 'Email Statement' button to receive a copy via your registered email address.

How to Upgrade to the Paid Tier

Adding card information to your account automatically upgrades your account from the Free Tier to the Paid Storage Tier.

  • Simply Open the Billing Page, and complete the card information on the Payment details Tab.
  • Choose the button called “Upgrade Tier” and you are done.
  • You will now be able to enjoy all the benefits of the Paid Storage Tier!

Don't worry about losing the 25GB free! Even on the paid tier, you still benefit from having the first 25GB of storage space free!

How do I cancel an active order?

While any bucket exists, it will remain linked to an active order. To cancel the bucket order, it must be deleted.

  • Remember that deletion of a bucket means that all bucket contents will also be deleted, and cannot be recovered, not even by us.
  • Please make sure that you have downloaded and backed up all the information before you delete the bucket! For this purpose, we suggest using CloudSafe software, also provided by CloudAfrica. You can find more information about this software here: www.cloudsafe.me
